Exciting Opportunities at Blume on the Ave!

Blume on the Ave is bringing new energy to Mattapan with three newly constructed buildings featuring 3,000 square feet of prime commercial space across three distinct sites. As part of our commitment to fostering local entrepreneurship, DVM Housing Partners (DVM) is offering two of these commercial spaces for sale to local business owners ready to make an impact!

In January 2025, DVM, in partnership with KPP Consulting (KPP), issued a Request for Proposals (RFP), inviting passionate, community-driven entrepreneurs to share their vision for how they would activate these spaces and contribute to Mattapan’s cultural and economic vitality. The response was incredible—over 70 businesses expressed interest, and 20 submitted proposals!

With the support of KPP and the Community Advisory Committee (CAC), 4 finalists were selected to present their businesses before the Greater Mattapan Community on April 2nd at a hybrid event called the Blume Pitch Party. With over 90 people in attendance, KPP and DVM collected the thoughts of the community; and are now working with the CAC on the next steps in announcing the next businesses at Blume on the Ave.
